Cookie and Tracking Notice
1. What we use
SurfacePoint uses essential cookies and first-party storage for authentication and security. Optional public website analytics storage (GA4 via GTM) is only activated after explicit consent.
2. Essential categories
- Session/authentication cookies used to keep users signed in and secure accounts.
- Security cookies used to protect against abuse and unauthorized access.
- Preference storage (such as language or timezone) where enabled.
3. Optional analytics and marketing preferences
- Analytics (optional): used on public marketing and conversion pages to measure landing-to-checkout funnel performance and campaign attribution (for example UTM source/medium/campaign and creative format).
- Marketing (optional): stored as preference in v1; ad-network pixels are not activated yet.
- No optional tracking is loaded before consent. You can reject optional categories and continue using the site.
4. Consent controls and retention
You can choose Accept all, Reject optional, or customize preferences. Consent choices are stored with a version and timestamp and can be changed anytime through the Cookie preferences link.
Attribution values (such as UTM parameters and click IDs) are stored in first-party storage for up to 90 days only after analytics or marketing consent, to support funnel and campaign reporting.
By default, optional analytics are not loaded inside the authenticated SurfacePoint application workspace.
5. Managing cookies
Most browsers allow control of cookies in settings. Disabling essential cookies may prevent login or core service functions.
